Where transformers once stood, photographers and designers, musicians and journalists, visual artists and architects now bustle about.
The former substation, operated by Christiania gGmbH, offers spaces of all sizes for a wide variety of needs, from 12 sqm small offices to light-filled 150 sqm studios.
The Christiania project (the former name of the city of Oslo) was launched in 2005 in cooperation with the Mitte District Office, the Kulturinitiative Förderband and the BBK Atelier Office, and was funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) until 2007.
