PopUpcycling is looking for new locations in shopping centres, malls and mixed-use properties.
We are a collective of designers, labels and makers who turn existing materials into high-quality products, one-of-a-kind pieces and small series: fashion, accessories, interior objects, crafts, gifts and design pieces for a conscious, urban audience.
Our locations are not conventional retail spaces. They are curated places for circular culture, local creative industries and sustainable design. Places that spark curiosity, attract visitors and give vacant spaces a new story.
What we are looking for
We are interested in spaces from around 150 m² that are suitable as pop-up stores, curated retail spaces or temporary usage concepts.
Spaces with good visibility, ground-floor access or a strong connection to existing visitor flows are particularly interesting. Depending on the location and condition, we can start quickly, flexibly and with comparatively little fit-out effort.

PopUpcycling brings together retail, design, sustainability and experience.
For shopping centres, malls and real estate properties, our concept can be a special addition: not an interchangeable retail chain, but a lively place with changing products, strong stories and a natural connection to topics such as sustainability, quality of stay, community and local value creation.
Our existing locations in Berlin show that PopUpcycling does more than sell products. PopUpcycling attracts people, creates conversations and makes circular culture visible.
Which spaces are suitable for PopUpcycling?
PopUpcycling can be especially interesting for:
- vacant retail spaces from around 150 m²
- temporarily available spaces
- interim spaces between two leases
- concept spaces with a distinctive profile
- spaces that are not immediately suitable for conventional leasing
- locations that would benefit from more quality of stay and a positive sustainability signal
We work best where owners, landlords or centre operators support the idea and want to develop a partnership-based location model together with us.

Not every suitable space is available right away. That is no problem.
If you cannot offer us a space at the moment but believe that PopUpcycling could be a good fit for your location, we would still be happy to hear from you. We are open to early conversations, can keep locations in mind and respond flexibly when a suitable space becomes available later.
